Head of Reporting

A fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).

First and foremost, you will be an exceptional finance professional with robust experience in financial and management accounting.
You should possess the ability to analyse any aspect of business from the finance perspective and to communicate clearly through inciteful, accurate high quality reporting including with written commentary when beneficial.

To be able to prepare the high quality reporting required quality it will be necessary at times to work with colleagues from other functions to gain a deeper understanding, accordingly you should possess good communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships to provide the basis for co-operation and improvement in the business.

To be successful in this role you will need

• To understand the requirements of reporting to a high standard in a corporate environment.
• To be comfortable working in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong office suite skills including:
  • Powerpoint.
  • Microsoft Word.
  • And in particular be skilled in the presentational, data analysis and modelling aspects of Microsoft Excel.

The post holder will be responsible for producing and managing all reporting including management accounting, board papers and reporting presentations for the CFO to present to the executive board, investors and senior management.

Accordingly you must be able to produce reporting, presentations and board papers with the highest standards of presentation as expected by executives at this level.
You should also be adept at writing clear and inciteful commentary as and when required.

This role will require diligence, determination, analytical skills, organisational skills, a positive “can do” attitude, communication skills, and an ability to work effectively with colleagues of all levels and from all functions across the business.
